临界--0工场

前言

赵树林

 

从1976年以来,中国逐渐的进入了一个高速发展的,具有中国特色的社会转型时期。新旧的更迭产生了混乱;传统和现在的交错生成了奇特的人文景观;不同地域和异域文化的交融正在产生文化的新共性;以丧失大多数农民的土地而迁移都市化进程逐渐成为世界的加工厂的同时付出了巨大的代价,经济的日益全球化使整个中国社会就像一个大的试验场。

 

承载亚文化的连接桥梁--大山子艺术区

 

2002年以来,随着一批艺术家和文化机构进驻,成规模地租用和改造部分718联合厂的空置厂房。目前在大山子艺术区周围形成了一个场,把艺术家工作室、艺术中心、画廊、书院等自然、有机的结合起来,并包在里边,而且和原来工业化生产的特性和现有的生产格局没有完全隔绝开来。一个集艺术中心、画廊、艺术家工作室、设计公司、广告公司、酒吧等于一体的艺术社区逐渐形成,绘画展、摄影展、实验戏剧、音乐会、时装发布会等艺术和商业活动非常频繁。逐渐成为与世界流行时尚接轨的阵地,前卫艺术家把厂房变为他们的居所、展厅、工作室,最时髦的,那就是住在Loft(仓库)里。大山子艺术区是一种车间文化,后工厂文化,大都市艺术社区,创库生活(Loft-Living)意味着梦想、艺术、创造、激情、发呆、自由、放松、或者就是简单的活着。作为中国当代艺术的集中地,“大山子艺术区”成为近距离观察中国当代艺术的理想场所,做为北京的SOHO成为世界了解北京当代文化现象的一个窗口。

 

718联合厂在新的时代与“中国特色的新经济和新文化”进行了结合,由过去的封闭的军工厂转型为开放的大山子艺术区和还在生产的部分工厂并置的社会工厂。清华大学美术学院李象群教授,在北京市2004年的两会上,他提交了一份议案,保护一个老工业建筑遗产,保护一个正在发展中的文化产业,建议政府相关部门停止798地区的拆迁活动。邀请建筑、文化、历史、经济与城市战略等领域的专家组成专家组,评估该地区的潜在价值。这份议案因得到了15位代表的签名支持而被北京市人大通过。而对它的保护体现着北京文化保护的思路,是历史遗迹和新的时代精神的结合。去长城、故宫是去体会中国传统文化,来天安广场是参观中国的政治、权力中心,参观CBD是来感受中国的经济发展速度,而来大山子艺术区是最具有亚文化的精神之旅。这两年先后迎来了德国总理施罗德先生、法国总统希拉克的夫人、联合国秘书长安南夫人、奥地利总理等国家元首的参观。

 

临界

 

事物由量变到质变的过程中我们体验到了临界中的转换,也就是转移、改变和更新观念,而后以新的形式存在和构成。艺术品的材料和媒介的延伸,角色的转换,不管是观众、职业艺术家本人、艺术评论家、传媒和艺术市场都要回归艺术创作和展示本身。转换支架帮助大众将他们说看到的艺术新信息进行转化。在接收支架已经帮助公众觉察到艺术新信息中所含结构的同时,转换支架将视觉所涉及到的艺术新信息结构化和具象化。艺术和生活之间有一种转化过程。普通的日常生活与艺术品之间发生碰撞、矛盾之后,它有一个转化过程。在寻求真实的生命感受和对生活的体验中,它代表艺术精神的雍容侵略入人生, 复活从精神死亡对永恒艺术生活的准求和实践。
也就是说我们是活跃的在转换,也是我们被动的在再生,这些都还不被我们所了解。一旦艺术品的审美性、精神性发生新的载体的转换出现了商业的可能性。

在革新艺术方面转换被看成是作为对再生的人的反应,给新生活注入新的灵魂。使人艺术化生活。我想象和亲身体验了被拒绝的当代艺术的境地,所以以一种被艺术家刻意转换的自上而下的推广和传播,试图转化成主流大众的艺术生活。

 

0工场:一切归零,从零开始。

 

大山子艺术区承接了从工业革命以后带来的从东德的建筑到我们自给自足的经济的转化,50年代那个时候的交往完全是考虑了东西方两个阵营的对峙,旧的时代遗迹被赋予新的生命,这是现代化国际大都市文化产业丰富的表现。有意义的是大山子艺术区本身是自发形成的,不仅是因为文化人的操作和入住才有价值,还因为它本身固有的亚文化现象。

Since 2002 garrisonned in a group of artists and cultural organizations, rented and transformed the idle factory building of some 718 union factories becoming scale. Have formed a piece of field around the artistic district of large rockery at present, has conbined artist's operating room , artistic centre , gallery , academy ,etc. naturally, organically together, make in the inside, but also and originally the characteristic produced in industrialization and existing production pattern are not totally isolated . One collect artistic centre , gallery , artist operating room , design company , advertising agency , bar equal to integrative artistic community form gradually, such arts as painting show , photographic exhibition , experiment drama , concert , fashion news conference ,etc. and business activity are very frequent.Becoming the position integrated with the world fashion gradually, the fashionable artist turns the factory building into their dwelling , exhibition room , operating room, most fashionable, that is to live in Loft (warehouse ). The artistic district of large rockery is the culture of a kind of workshop , the culture of back factory, an artistic community in the metropolis, create life of the storehouse (Loft-Living ) mean dream , art , set , passion , stare flankly , freedom , relax , or the simple work. As the centre of China's contemporary art, " artistic district of large rockery " becomes the ideal place to observe China's contemporary art at short range, make and become a window where the world found out about the contemporary culture phenomenon of Beijing as Beijing SOHO.

Dashanzi Art District accept after industrial revolution bringing from building of GDR to our self-sufficient economic transformation, the contacts at that time were totally the face-off of considering two camps between east and west in the fifties, the old era trace is given the new life, this is modernized behavior with abundant cultural industry of international metropolis. The meaningful one is that the large rockery took shape artistically spontaneously by district itself, not merely because the operation and moving in of the person in cultural circles is just valuable, also because of its inherent subculture phenomenon.
